InnoTecUK attends the 21st International Conference on Climbing and Walking Robots and Support Technologies for Mobile Machines (CLAWAR 2018), at the Technological University of Panama.

While at CLAWAR 2018, InnoTecUK presented material on some of its recently completed and acclaimed work: RIMCAW and CAMERA, as well as some of its ongoing ground-breaking collaborative projects: RiserSure™, RobotX, SIRCAUR, iFROG and RobFMS.

InnoTecUK’s Technical Director, Professor Gurvinder Virk and Project Engineer Matthew Kimball whilst at CLAWAR-18 presented two technical papers on recent research work carried out. The details of the two papers are:

  1. A novel holonomic mobile manipulator robot for construction sites., A. J. Gmerek, A. Plastropoulos, P. Collins, M. Kimball, Amit, A. Wheatley, J. Liu, P. T. Karfakis, K. Shah, J. Carroll and G. S. Virk.
  2. Mooring chain climbing robot for NDT inspection applications., M. Kimball, Amit, A. Gmerek, P. Collins, A. Wheatley, K. Shah, J. Liu, M. Dissanayake, J. Caroll, A. Plastropoulos, P. Karfakis, G.S. Virk and T Sattar.

It is envisaged that there will be an opportunity for presented papers to be recommended for possible publication in reputable international journals, ensuring our work and contribution to the field of robotics is felt globally.

InnoTecUK will continue to push the boundaries of technology for robotics and automation through its continuous contribution to the field of engineering.
